Course Description
Training can be delivered here in Sutton Coldfield or at your venue. Because of the practical nature of the course it is ideally delivered with access to the normal or anticipated working environment of the candidates, be that a hostile environment, maritime environment, security of a night club, a one on one protection of a VIP, Community Responders and Ambulance Responders as well as those wishing to gain tier 1 medic employment.

The topics covered include:The Pre-Hospital Environment, Primary survey and C-Spine control, PatientAssessment (communication, examination and assessment)Airway Management (OPA, BVM), Respiratory and Suction, Oxygen delivery, Basic Life Support & AED, Respiratory problems (asthma and hyperventilation)Medical Emergencies Diabetes, Stroke, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Heart Conditions, Unconscious casualty, Trauma Related Emergencies, Burns and Scalds, Bleeding and Shock, Assisting the Paramedic, Triage and much more to suit your environment.

Additional Requirements
We ask that students make the staff aware if they have any special needs on arrival at the start of the course, any health care issues to be aware of, the students need to have writing materials for the duration of the course and cold weather clothing for any outside activities.

Who should attend
Students need to be at least 18 years of age, have identification and proof of address (i.e. passport, drivers Licence, bills, bank statements). The address proof cannot be more than 3 months old. Learners must also have an acceptable standard of English in order to be successful in this training.
Terms and Conditions
Here at Axle Training, we ask that any student wishing to book onto any of our courses needs to send £100 deposit to book their place on a course if the student fails to attend or does not contact our team two weeks before a course wanting to cancel their place. The deposit becomes non-refundable and will be used for paying costs for booking instructors before our any courses held at our Sutton Coldfield Centre.
